Pete Cecconi

Pete was born in 1970 as one of seven children to Pete and JoLane Cecconi in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Greensburg Central Catholic in 1989, where he was an all-district golfer and four-year Letterman. He graduated from UNC Wilmington in 1993 with a degree in accounting and a minor in IT systems. He graduated in four years and was consistently on the dean’s list, finishing as one of the top five graduates in the school of accounting.

Post-graduation, Peter embarked on a successful career in banking, starting with First Union and later moving to BB&T banks. In 1996, he transitioned to a technology infrastructure startup, where his contributions led to its rapid growth. Demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit, Peter founded Peerless Communications Inc. in 1998 and has since served as its President and CEO. His expertise in the field is further validated by his registration as a Communications Distribution Designer in 2003.

Peter is a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and a member of C12 which encourages business leaders to use their faith through their businesses. Peter is also an active member of the downtown Raleigh Rotary club where he was a former board member, a Paul Harris Fellow, a member of the Lester Woodall Society and a Knights of Columbus member as of 2023. Peter is married to Jennifer Green of Raleigh. They have two children; Brant was born in October 2017 and Amelia was born in July 2020. Pete and Jennifer live in the North Ridge area of North Raleigh and are members of North Ridge Country Club.

JIM DARGAN

GENERAL MANAGER

Jim rejoined the Peerless Communications team in May 2022 as General Manager. Jim is a licensed NC Building Contractor and a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) with over 30 years of experience in the AV and Construction industries. He began his career in construction in 1986. Jim held positions with three of the top builders in the country before starting his own construction business in 1999. He entered the AV industry in 2011. Peerless Communications, Inc. is growing at an exceptional rate, and Jim’s background and experience uniquely qualify him to help take our team to the next level of growth. His keen eye for spotting and implementing process improvements and his savvy business acumen will help us deliver exceptional internal and external outcomes.

Jim lives in Cary with his wife of 30+ years. Their son is a junior in college. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, camping in the mountains and boating at the NC coast. Recently, they have enjoyed making YouTube videos of their camping trips and teaching others their tips and tricks.

MIKE MYERS, RCDD

ENGINEERING MANAGER

Mike Myers

Mike Myers

Mike was born in 1984 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He is a 2002 graduate of Mineral County High School and a 2004 graduate of Truckee Meadows Community College, where he earned an A.A.S. in Electronics Technology. After college, Mike relocated to Tampa, Florida where he began his career in structured cabling. In 2010, he relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina, and earned his BICSI Technician credential. In late 2014, Mike began working at Peerless Communications, Inc., where he continued his education and professional development. Mike started as a field engineer and site lead and later became a project manager and engineer. Since 2018, Mike has overseen the estimating and engineering group for structured cabling and security. Mike obtained his Low Voltage Electrical License in March 2017 and his Registered Communications Distribution Designer credential in December 2017. Mike became licensed with the Alarm Systems Licensing Board in February 2019.

Mike married Adrie Larkin in 2015. They have three children.

ANTHONY TALIERCIO

AV ENGINEERING MANAGER - CTS , ECP, CTI, CFC

Anthony was born in April 1990 in Norwalk, CT. He attended St. Luke’s in New Canaan, CT., and graduated in 2008. After his high school graduation, Anthony attended Radford University, where he acquired a BS in Computer Science. Anthony worked for Saugatuck Construction Group during high school and college, managing their IT and networks in-house. The company outperformed forecasted growth and outsourced its IT department to iSupport. Anthony joined iSupport and gained experience in Audio Visual as well as IT. Soon after his college graduation Anthony started his own tech company and named it Priceless Tech Support with a partner. In January 2019, Anthony sold his business and moved to North Carolina. He wanted to focus solely on commercial AV in the Raleigh market. Anthony joined Peerless in 2019, starting as a lead technician/junior programmer.

Anthony is married to Stephanie Taliercio, and they have two children.

Anthony Taliercio

MATTHEW ROBERTSON

DIRECTOR OF PURCHASING

Matt, a New York native, moved to Florida in 1994 and began his career in data communications with Compulink, a technology integrator and cable assembly manufacturer based in the Tampa area. Matt started as a structured cabling technician and was quickly promoted to crew leader. In 1998, Matt started with Intermedia, which later became Verizon, managing the structured cabling department. Matt’s role expanded into networking, and he acquired his CCNA and CCNA Voice in 2003. 

In 2009, Verizon relocated Matt to Cary, NC, to manage the Cary campus's cabling infrastructure and network hardware.  In 2017, his role expanded to include managing desktop support. In June 2018, Matt was hired at Peerless Communications, Inc. as a project manager. Matt handles large enterprise accounts including Verizon for Peerless.

Matt Robertson

RAY BRUNET

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Ray Brunet

Ray was born in South Louisiana and graduated high school early to join the US Army with the 82nd Airborne. Ray was a paratrooper and avionic technician and served thirteen months in Afghanistan. After his discharge in 2009, he started his career as a structured cabling technician. Ray was promoted to lead technician within six months. In 2012, he graduated with honors from Ashford University with a BA in Project Management with a concentration in organizational management. In 2021, he earned a PMP certification from Syracuse University. In 2022, he completed a leadership development course with Syracuse University focused on how to lead yourself, others, and your organization. In August of 2022, Ray joined Peerless Communications as a Field Project Manager. His expertise in the field, combined with his education, brings a lot to the table for Peerless Communications as he manages jobs on and off-site.

Ray married his wife, Stacey, in October 2021. They have two girls and four dogs. He is a project lead with the United States Veterans Corps. While with the United States Veterans Corps, he participated in giving homes to veterans returning with Purple Hearts and wives of the fallen.

Ray's dedication to serving veterans and Their families is truly remarkable. As part of the United States Veterans Corps, he played a pivotal role in setting two Guinness World Records. The first was for collecting the most food in 24 hours, and the second was for collecting the most toys in the same timeframe. KIARO HOLTS

AV FIELD PROJECT MANAGER

Kiaro Holts

Kiaro, originally from Detroit, Michigan, relocated to Indiana in 1992. His exceptional athletic abilities led to his recognition as a High School football all-American and the second-ranked player in Indiana during his senior year. In 2011, he decided to further his education at the esteemed University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he also participated in football, garnering multiple letters and acquiring ten starts at right tackle. 

Kiaro's venture into audiovisual work commenced in 2015 when he joined JW Audiovisual as a support staff member. After a year of contracting, AVI-SPL recognized Kiaro’s talents. They extended a job offer and promoted him to lead technician in 2016, following a year dedicated to installation work. Demonstrating his proficiency and commitment over five years at AVI-SPL, Kiaro excelled in the role of tech-4 before transitioning to senior lead technician at Peerless. Remarkably, within seven months, Kiaro's exemplary performance led to his promotion to AV Field Project Manager. 

Kiaro's expertise in the audiovisual field is not just a result of his professional experience, but also his commitment to continuous learning. He has acquired several certifications that underscore his knowledge and skills, including Bi-amp VoLP, OSHA 30, OSHA NFPA 70E, Tesira 101 core concepts, and completion of the Online-Network Infrastructure Cabling Deploy Online Course.

Mira Tavera

Mira Tavera is our Accounting and Human Resources Manager. She has lived all over the globe, but once she made North Carolina home, she decided to join Peerless Communications. Every employee speaks to Mira on a weekly basis, and she is part of the reason our team feels like family. We often tell her that she is the heartbeat of our organization. She’s also an avid cook.
